In case you don't know, Affiliate Marketing is when you get paid for promoting a product or a service. For example, if you purchased a new TV and loved it, and then sent someone a special link to where they could buy the TV, you could get paid a commission if they purchased it.

Affiliate Marketing is probably the fastest and easiest way to make money online. You don't need to create your own products, deal with customers, and more. You can make even more money when you're doing the right things!
If you're sick of staring at a blank screen because you have no idea what to promote, and have tried it a few times but haven't made any sales, it's probably not your fault because you didn't know that there was more to the process. You can't just find a random product, promote it somewhere, and expect to be able to retire like so many others make it seem possible.

Hi! I'm Jessica Mele and I've had my online business for over 16 years now. When I first started in the summer of 2005 I loved the idea of being my own boss and being able to choose my own hours as well as what I did each day.
I have my masters degree in Computer Engineering, and at the time was working at a job related to that field. Like most people, I had to be at my job for 8-hours a day, even when I was told there was nothing to do at the moment. I worked on things that I enjoyed, sure...but there were plenty of things that I didn't like as well. And of course, no matter how hard I worked, I still brought home the same salary.
Once I decided to start my own online business, I quickly found affiliate marketing and absolutely loved the fact that I could make money while sharing the products that I loved and used myself! The idea that I could make money by telling people about the shirt I bought the week before or the restaurant I ate at last weekend? That was just incredible.
Plus I could work when I wanted to, and still be able to do other things that I wanted to do as well. Add in the fact that I had the potential to earn even more than I had at my 6-figure income from my job? That was even better.
But while the idea itself was great, it wasn't always easy to figure out what to promote, how to find the affiliate programs for the companies, or what to even say to my audience to get them to like and trust me.
I can't tell you how many years I spent just "throwing things at the wall to see what would stick." I also spent a lot of time staring at a blank screen, not sure what to do or what would earn me an income.
After all of these years, I've finally found what works and how to become a credible resource that my audience is excited to hear from and asks for recommendations from.
Now, when I find something I absolutely love, it takes me just a few seconds to get my link and let people know what I thought about the product. I even enjoy telling them about what I don't like!
These days, I have a school aged child and this gives me the freedom to always be there for her, there for my whole family in fact, and on any schedule that works for me. I can work whenever I have time, and still be there when my daughter comes home from school, and be around to spend time with her and my husband so I'm not missing out on anything.
